Second straight win for India and they have progressed to the Super League quarter-finals. Today's win, even if against Ireland, was significant given the number of players they were missing due to the COVID19 cases in the squad. They'll hope that their regular captain and vice captain recover at the earliest. For Ireland, it was a humbling experience but you hope that their players will come out stronger from such games. That's a wrap to today's U19 World Cup coverage. Do join us tomorrow for more action. Until then, it's goodbye from us.

Nishant Sindhu | India captain: I'm really happy with the win. It was great to see everyone sticking to their roles and plans. We had to focus early, had to keep those things (COVID19 cases in the camp) out of the mind and the boys responded well. Support staff are doing a great job in backing us and giving us all that we need to perform.

Tim Tector | Ireland captain: Have to give credit to India. They came out with the bat and put pressure on us straightaway. We didn't bowl particularly well although we did pull things back well later on. We were happy to restrict them to 307, because it was a good surface. Was always going to be a challenge for us. Losing early wickets put us on the back foot. Maybe we could have been more proactive. But again, got to give credit to India, they hardly gave us loose balls.

15:46 Local Time, 19:46 GMT, 01:16 IST: Ireland were never in this game. Especially in the second half with the chase never taking off at all. They lost wickets upfront to India's pacers who were too hot to handle with their pace and extra bounce. Wickets kept falling and there wasn't any intent from the Irish batters either, making it a formality from the get-go, and the match meandered to a result that was a foregone conclusion ages ago. Macbeth and Cox played a few entertaining shots that helped to reduce the losing margin but it was really India all the way. Their bowlers shared the spoils rather equally with almost all those who rolled their arms getting a wicket. 307 was always a bridge too far for the Irish and it panned out that way as well.

Kaushal Tambe to Muzamil Sherzad, out Caught by Raj Bawa!! What an incredible catch to wrap things up! Wow! Bawa from deep mid-wicket came charging forward and this was always dipping on him, giving him very little chance of taking the catch. But he timed his run and dive to perfection, tumbling low to take a brilliant grab. Top stuff! Was a typical tailender slog from Sherzad, didn't get proper connection on it and has been sent packing by some exceptional fielding. India have qualified for the next round! Muzamil Sherzad c Raj Bawa b Kaushal Tambe 1(3)
