17:50 Local Time, 16:50 GMT, 22:20 IST: Nottinghamshire have notched up a fairly comfortable victory in the end but they stuttered for a while in the run-chase. After bowling out Lancashire for 145 on a good batting deck, it was always going to be an uphill task for the visitors to find a way back into the game. Clarke took the hosts off to a flier. It was looking like it will be a no-contest with the way he was going but Blatherwick struck to get the better of him. Hales’ scratchy knock was also ended by Blatherwick and Livingstone outfoxed Munro with a smart piece of bowling soon after. A couple of more wickets fell in the quest to close the game early but the hosts had it pretty much covered. Moores struck a flurry of boundaries to take his side over the finish line with 7 balls to spare. So, two wins in a row for Nottinghamshire and they would be pleased with that. Meanwhile, Lancashire need to ponder a lot as they slump to a fourth defeat in a row. That’s it from our side. Until next time, take care and goodbye!
The stream went off suddenly and that’s why we couldn’t continue with our live commentary for the last few overs of the game. Apologies for that!
