Brandon King is apparently having some cramps after that fantastic knock and, thus, couldn't come for the presentations to collect the award. Skipper Hope received it on his behalf. The West Indies couldn't have asked for a better start than this. While the hosts aim to turn things around, Windies will look to extend their dominance and perhaps try out a few more players maybe? To find out all about that, join us back on Tuesday for the second ODI. Same place, same time. Until then, cheers and goodbye!!
Shai Hope | West Indies skipper: They (bowlers) all bowled really well, stuck to their plans and really happy. I saw Dominic grow from childhood and nice to see him playing for the West Indies colors now. Don't think there are any demons on this surface and credit to the bowlers for restricting them to a low score. He (King) is an exceptional player, happy that he is kicking on now and really happy for him. He played a wonderful innings and happy to see him get his first hundred today.
Muhammad Waseem | UAE skipper: Guys bowled really well, but we didn't get enough runs on the board. Aayan bowled really well, we were looking for wickets but King played really well. We will take the positives from this game and do better in the next game.
23:18 Local Time, 19:18 GMT, 00:48 IST: If West Indies had a plot about how to approach this series, this game would have been almost picture-perfect. Clinical. After being asked to bowl, they had the hosts on the mat at 129/6 and although Ali Naseer's cameo created a bit of frustration, the chase was anything but that. Johnson Charles smacked a few in the powerplay and King took over the charge later on with Brooks giving him perfect company as the duo stitched a 91-run stand for the second wicket. Once King got the measure of the conditions, he counter-attacked spin and pace alike to notch up his maiden ton in ODI cricket. Post-match reactions coming right up, stick around...

Mustafa to Brandon King, out Caught by Aryansh Sharma!! Faint nick and gone. Brandon King looks for a late cut against this quicker delivery but only managed to get a slight outer edge through to the keeper. Was in a hurry to finish the game and ended up playing one too many shots in the end there. A briliant knock, nonetheless and he is being welcome with a round of cheers from the dressing room.
