That's all from today's Super Six encounter. We'll be back tomorrow with the clash between Sri Lanka and Netherlands. Ciao for now!
Craig Ervine: Very relieved, it was a tough game of cricket for us today. We thought that 280-290 was going to be a good score. But we figured out that the wicket was very good. Thanks to Williams' innings we scored 330. The wicket did seem different in the morning, but our bowlers missed our lines and lengths, and that made it easier for the Oman batters. It's quite tough when you lose the toss and are put in to bat first. Bowling second we have to look at 320-330. We have been playing good cricket, so we don't need to change much. Today it was a tough day, but we played extremely well. Days like these take energy out of you, so we need to rest and come back stronger against Sri Lanka.
Zeeshan Maqsood: We didn’t do well while fielding, dropped catches and were sloppy. Gave 30-40 runs extra. Second half Prajapati and Aqib played very well, we lost too many wickets in the middle phase of the chase and that’s why we couldn't finish it off. We knew there was a long and short side, that’s what we were targeting. Between 35-45 overs, we messed it up. It’s a hamstring injury, I need to go to the doctor and have it checked before the future games. We were going really well, getting boundaries at will and if I didn’t get the injury at that moment maybe we could have chased this down.
Sean Williams, Player of the Match: The pitch was pretty good. It was slow in the morning and it was challenging against the seamers. Running between the wickets was the key. When we were bowling, it flattened towards the end of the day. But credit to our bowlers, they bowled pretty well. Staying nice and calm is the most important thing, and so is the running between the wickets. It puts pressure on the bowlers, when you show intent, it works in your favour. I thought 270 would be a good score when I saw the wicket in the morning, but everyone chipped in and we got that score.
17:24 Local Time, 15:24 GMT, 20:54 IST: Yet another victory for Zimbabwe who continue to impress in this tournament and keep inching closer to sealing a World Cup berth. Oman elected to bowl first and they were very tidy with the new ball, however, Sean Williams' knock put them on the back foot. The dashing left-hander notched up his third century of the tournament and apart from his rollicking knock, there were some pivotal contributions by Raza and Jongwe as the job was half done when Zimbabwe posted a total of 332/7. Although Prajapati scored a century in the run chase, the target was big enough and out of Oman's reach. Ilyas and Ayaan Khan chipped in with handy contributions, and so did Nadeem and Maqsood, but they weren't enough to threaten the opposition. The Zimbabwean pacers picked most of the wickets, but they also proved to be quite expensive. Stay around for the presentations..

Chatara to Zeeshan Maqsood, out Caught by Jongwe!! Zimbabwe win by 14 runs! Was a length ball by Chatara and Zeeshan Maqsood tries to take him on. Goes hard at it, swings and miscues it towards long-on where Jongwe takes the skier. Handshakes all around as we have witnessed a well fought contest in Bulawayo. Zeeshan Maqsood c Jongwe b Chatara 37(40) [4s-3 6s-1]
