That's it from here for now. Do join us for more cricketing action on this platform. Time to go back to sleep. Bye!
Faf du Plessis | TSK captain: If you look at the power they have in the middle, the strongest hitters in the game - the composure we showed there. [on Mohsin] He has got a kit of tricks you want against those big hitters, especially the first 6 balls when they are exposing their front pad. I have the confidence in him now to throw him the ball in the 16th over against David. That's me - I like fielding, the same with David Miller we always go to the hotspots and make it happen. [on Bravo] We played a lot of cricket together, we think alike, I always bounce ideas off him. He says he now identifies himself as a 29-year old. He is moving nicely for someone of his age. It's a great game and thanks to the crowd. Hopefully we get the same following next game.
Kieron Pollard | MINY captain: Of course. 155 on this was always gettable. We are disappointed with our batting and it has been our achilles heel for us. Every time we tried to build a partnership we lost wickets. We were slow in the first 10 overs. Something for us to look at. Temptation is always there, if we had gotten over the line the conversation would have been different but we did not get the job done [on sending batters like Pooran and himself up the order]. Everyone is putting their hands up to bat higher, maybe next game everyone will be opening [grins sarcastically].
Devon Conway | Player of the Match: It was a slight challenge up front, felt like that the ball was not coming on in the powerplay. Myself and Faf decided to take our time and then set a platform for later on. We have a blueprint on how to go about things. The wind was going down-breeze and the plan was to hit with that. The crowd was great.
Daniel Sams: Coming up against Tim, know about him coming from Australia. After we got him, it was a bit of relief. It was one of those wickets, if you have runs on the board, you can defend it. The way we started with the ball, it kinda got us in front of the game. The crowd has been fantastic. Hopefully in Morrisville it's the same. (On bowling with Bravo) It's awesome playing with someone like him. Already had few good conversations with him. Good to be on the same team and not face him.
23:21 Local Time, 04:21 GMT, 09:51 IST: TSK defend 154 with ease. Faf and team are all smiles. The partnership between Jahangir and Steven Taylor cost MINY. They were too slow and ate up a lot of balls. That put the pressure on the others - Pooran, David and Pollard who couldn't get their team over the line. Good fielding from Faf and Miller in the deep and excellent catching allied to superb death bowling helped TSK cruise home. David was the dangerman but he had too much to do in that final over and perished. Texas move top of the table with this win. Stay tuned for the presentation...
