The winner of that game will directly qualify to the finals while the loser will take on MI New York in the Challenger tomorrow. Hop tabs to enjoy all the action. We hope you enjoyed our coverage. Till then, goodbye and take care!
Nicholas Pooran: Well done to the guys. Everyone stepped up. In all fairness, Jansen bowled really well in the powerplay and we lost wickets at crucial times. Discipline, energy, and attitude were important. We have to control and gets wickets in the powerplay and that's crucial. When you win games like these, you gain some confidence. We won as a team and we are looking forward to tomorrow.
Moises Henriques: The wicket looked amazing but probably didn't play as consistently as we expected. 140 is chaseable had the batters made a better decision in the middle order. (On their side) We had really good balance in our bowling attack and a lot of spinning options. Saurabh was really skilful as well. (On his message to fans) Stick with us, we have a really good group, not only the players but also the staff. It has been a very good experience with Washington.

Dewald Brevis | Man of the Match: I am so happy at the moment. It is good to see the result going our way. I really enjoyed it, I don't mind where I bat, I am happy to contribute. Polly gave me some wise words and that helped me. I kept playing my shots and enjoyed the moment. I thought whenever the ball is in my area, I am going. Everyone chipped in in this game.

19:17 Local Time, 00:17 GMT, 05:47 IST: A brilliant bowling performance from MI has ensured that they have notched up a victory with considerable ease. It was on the back of a 75-run stand between Brevis and David that MI managed to reach a competitive score on a surface which offered variable bounce. Washington lost Short early. Gous and Mukhtar stitched a useful stand but once the former fell, they lost their way. Washington lost 5/38 and that meant that they were robbed off the momentum. Phillips tried hard but Boult outfoxed him with a slower one to put MI on top. A late flourish from Jansen threatened MI for a while but their bowlers held their nerves. A brilliant catch from Wiese in the 19th over sent Jansen packing and that was the killer blow. The New York bowlers were disciplined, varied their lines and lengths to perfection, and picked up wickets when it mattered. MI were clinical in this knockout affair despite not having Pollard and that will only help their confidence to soar. Stick around for the presentations...
