Whew! That really was a superb game. The Heat really seem unstoppable in this year's competition. The Hurricanes would've really fancied their chances at the halfway stage but the Heat were so on the money with the ball. Spare a thought for Nikhil Chaudhary too who played a brave knock. That's it from us here, this is Anurag Hegde signing off on behalf of Pradeep Krishnamurthy and Siva M.D.
Xavier Bartlett | Player of the Match - Unbelievable game, the crowd was at its loudest tonight and pushed us towards the win. We knew we had to take early wickets, that was the key, their top-4 have been their highest run-scorers. It felt good to contribute to the win. The wicket quickened up a bit under the lights, so we need to be full on length to get the rewards
21:43 Local Time, 11:43 GMT, 17:13 IST: An absolute thriller ends with the Heat claiming their 6th win on the trot to remain the only unbeaten side in the competition! It ends in heartbreak for Nikhil Chaudhary who played so well and got his side so close before falling the final over. The Heat can be mighty proud of their bowling effort, they managed to defend 118 (16 overs). After putting just 132 on the board earlier, they needed a good start with the ball and that's exactly what they got. Neser got Jewell in the very first over and Bartlett scalped two more in the very next one. That had the Hurricanes in dire straits and it only got worse when they lost Anderson in the 4th over. There was a bit of a rain interruption and that meant that it was reduced to a 16-over innings with the revised target being 118. The Hurricanes desperately needed a partnership and they got just that as Chaudhary and David got stuck in at the crease. It looked like they were headed for victory but a double-wicket blow from Spencer Johnson late in the piece meant things got complicated. They needed 13 off the final over and Chaudhary started with a maximum but he just couldn't quite get the job done. A remarkable win for the Heat and it also means they've qualifed for the playoffs!

Walter to Nathan Ellis, out Dooley Run Out!! 1 run completed. That's it, the Heat have done it! A low full-toss on middle, all Nathan Ellis could do was slap it straight to mid-off, a single is all they could get, Dooley tried to go for the second but it was never on and he was run-out at the striker's end. Dooley run out (Munro/Billings) 1(1)
Walter to Nathan Ellis, THATS OUT!! Run Out!!
