Abhishek Sharma | Player of the Series (485 runs and 2 wickets): Pretty happy with the performances. Especially with the team's performances. From day 1 we have dreamt about this. The bunch of the guys we are having, we have been playing last 3-4 years, it's high time we achieved something. We dreamt about getting this trophy and we got it. I'm really happy.
Anmolpreet Singh | Player of the Match: I tried to play positively as the wicket was good. We lost a couple of wickets early, we had to play to the situation, we backed ourselves.
Krunal Pandya | Baroda captain: Proud of the boys, how they turned up in the 2nd innings. We did not give up. Entire tournament we have played like that, the result was not in our favour in the final. Yes 100%, massive difference chasing 200 and 224, those 24 runs is extra pressure as a batter, chasing 200, we know we can take a couple of balls and go about it. We are a young team. we are learning. We are into our 23s and 24s, it's a process of getting better but the goal is still to win a BCCI trophy.
20:11 Local Time, 14:41 GMT, 20:11 IST: Punjab hang on to win a close game. The 19th over from Arshdeep the turning point. He took three wickets and ensured his side won. Chasing 224, Baroda were kept in the hunt by Ninad Rathva and Abhimanyu Singh who kept up with the asking rate. The early onslaught by Rathva was cut short before his fifty but Abhimanyu and Krunal kept going and were helped by sloppy Punjab's fielding effort which saw them drop four catches. It looked like that will cost them as heavy dew made the bowlers' job difficult as well. But Arshdeep turned it all around in one over when 33 were needed off 12 balls.
