So that's the warm-ups done. Some concerns for Sri Lanka, not just with the middle-order and the bowling, but also on the injury front. Hopefully they'll all be fit and ready in time for the first game. All eyes now on the main event with the WC opener between England and New Zealand less than 2 days away. Until then, it's goodbye!
Trott: It's an act of balancing. You try to take the positives and work on the negatives. Certainly lots of positives to take with us to Dharamsala. Decision behind bowling first was because we thought it would take turn when it was dry. Have to try and start better with the new ball. That's what you get with Gurbaz. The amount of talent he has is unmatched. That's the standard for him. That's what he can play like. Unfortunately our previous game was rained out. Have been playing some good cricket.
Mendis: Our bowlers and batters have done well in first match and the match today. Openers have done well. Everyone knows how to play in India and the wickets here. Have a couple of days and hope to do well in first match. Very hard to bowl after the rain break. Fast bowlers bowled well in the first six overs.
Sri Lanka had hoped for a similar workout for their own middle-order batters when Kusal Mendis decided to retire out on 158 off just 87 balls. What they got instead was a collapse.
22:42 Local Time, 17:12 GMT, 22:42 IST: Afghanistan have cruised to their revised target of 257
