So Oakland Coliseum put on a colossal show on its debut. It was a perfect theatre for T20 cricket. Shame Freedom couldn't take the fight till the end to spoil the fun for us. They were well on course to hunt down 270. Looks like no total could be safe here if the pitch stays similar. Short boundaries do excite the batters and conditions demand high skill from the bowlers. Nightmare for bowlers if they don't get the act right. The show had a lot of promise today and it keeps the anticipation levels high for tomorrow as well. Glenn Maxwell | Washington Freedom Captain - Pretty impressive, was a great spectacle for the crowd, but unfortunately we couldn't get close. Finn Allen batted beautifully, he overpowered us, we had set plans, but this was a small ground and a beautiful wicket. The wicket changed a bit under lights, it held up a bit, but we lost too many wickets in the middle overs. We thought we had a chance, played well in the first 7 overs and then it fell apart. (On Lockie Ferguson) You'll see him at some point of the tournament, he's coming up well and might not be too long before he's back.
