Ashleigh Gardner | Gujarat Giants: There's just a lot of excitement among the team. We have a lot of personnel change, whether that's from staff or players. Excited to get this tournament underway, there has been a lot of chat, we have seen two very good games to start off the competition. We just want to get underway. We're a very balanced side this year, got some fantastic firepower through our batting order, and match up very well with the bowling this year. Plenty of different options with pace and spin. Plenty of key matchups, I think the powerplay is going to be key for our bowlers to set the tone and pick up early wickets for we know the type of fire power they have at the top of their order. We've got to make the most of the powerplay with the bat as well, can't let them settle.
Nat Sciver-Brunt | Mumbai Indians: Pretty pumped, we were all really excited for her (Sajana). She is actually very professional, she knows what she is doing, very competitive in whatever she does. Brilliant addition to our team. (Improvements from the first season) Every team has made changes and all the squads are stronger. The competition has gone up a notch too. Being in a different city, the crowd has been electric. Looking forward to getting out there tonight. They have got some pretty consistent batters. They have changed a lot since last season. Hopefully we can nail our plans and back each other up in the field too.
